How to recycle your battery.
Recycling is not only easy but rewarding in two ways. First, proper disposal of spent batteries keeps them out of the landfill - or worse - a river, the sea, or along a roadside. Secondly, it also pays off for your pocketbook because even a dead battery has value.
Here's how it works:
Bring your battery in to our central collection point at the RENCO Battery facility located at 1 1/4 Miles on the Northern Highway in Belize City.
When purchasing a new battery - you will receive a credit in the amount of the value of the old battery

Just bring in an old battery and we'll pay you cash for it according to the current market scrap value.

In any case, the used batteries are packaged and shipped to a recycling center in the United States. There the batteries go through state of the art, environmentally friendly recycling processes. Over 97% of old batteries are re-incarnated as new batteries.
